Loïc Le Meur’s social network application developer Seesmic has acquired social network updater Ping.fm, which updates more than 50 social networks. Seesmic has become one of the largest Twitter/Facebook client developers, and this will not only be an excellent long-term strategic acquisition for Seesmic but push activity streams further.
