Social Q&A product Quora has closed a $11 million fundraising round at an $86 million valuation, led by Benchmark Capital, reports TechCrunch. Quora was founded in June 2008 by Charlie Cheever and Adam D’Angelo, ex-Facebook employees, and recently launched in private beta in early 2010.

A plane crashed in East Palo Alto today at about 8am PST, leaving 3 Tesla executives dead. FOX Business and SAI confirmed with Tesla that CEO Elon Musk was not on board. My heart goes out to the family and friends of the passengers.
